Post by taimoortwm on Sat 19 Nov 2011, 10:27 am

HI guys, I finally made some liverock on my onw. It looks pretty good. I wonder how long they can be cured. Any idea?

I let mine sit in the sun for 1 week and then use water from my water changes in a rubber maid for another week changing the water every day.

I use the acid method ( no clue how much I put in there Suspect ) It has been several hours. I do not know how long it should be ok.

I was unaware of an acid method. What type of acid did you put in there? How much rock did you make up? What portland did you mix with the sand/rock and water?

Huh. That does make since. But be sure to wash the heck out of it. I think after 2 weeks you should be good. Remember to test the water you have it soaking in.
