20Gallon Cichlid Tank
This is the tank I've had running for about 2 years now, all the fish were bought at the same time, and all were about 1 inch long. I bought 7, presuming I would lose some, after all cichlids are aggressive, grow big, and will eat the smaller fish.
2 years on, all 7 are alive and as frisky as ever, some have grown slowly, others much faster (dominance and genes, when it comes to the hybrids I guess).
As you will see, I also have a big black catfish. Felinus "Flynn"ius Eatus Fishius Pleasus.
As an alternative to caves, I had 3 hexagonal mugs, which I placed on the one rock, this provides 3 caves, and even more of interest, the smaller caves created by the ^ at the base between mugs.

Nice! My cat used to do the same thing... until Mr. Squirt Bottle came along.

It's cool to be able to see the setup after hearing you talk about it! I like. Nice tank. :-)
