Unknown Green SPS

I have One unknown Green SPS frag approximately 1 1/2" in length that I will donate to the coop. My clumsiness is your reward. SPS corals require intense lighting such as MH bulbs for best results. It is mounted to a frag plug but has not started encrusting yet. This is a hardy SPS, as it was one of the few stony corals that was unaffected by a past parameter problem I had.

Location: Longview
I will deliver to Tyler during the week but you must meet me near Duncan st on the north side of town.

Yep it's all your fault! You're going to want some of my superman montipora and the candlelight acro back. They are doing well as is the Red Planet. Put me down for that frag. I'll pass some along soon as I get some good growth.

The candlelight was my favorite piece. Just let me know when you are ready to start fragging your SPS corals. I think I am ready to start picking up a few pieces again.

I was digging through my files and I found the original information for the frag you just got from me. It was sold to me as a Tubbs Pink Jade. I attached a picture of the mother colony I got the frag from. I got it from the president of the SEAS club in Missouri about 14 months ago.

Just an update on the progress of the frag.

Looking good! The mother colony is finally trying to get it's original color back now that it is in the new tank.

New update. Still hanging in there throughout all my problems and starting to grow again. Still not ready to frag but I hope it won't be too long.

Excuse the blurry pic. I didn't realize it was blurry until I uploaded it. It shows the growth and progress though.

I have a frag ready to donate back to the COOP. Since this is an sps coral it will need to go to someone with an established sps capable tank. Frag is healthy and not fresh cut. It's starting to encrust and has good color.

How does it look under the leds? Is it much different than the tubbs pink jade?

I've got several coop corals already, so even if it is tri-color ultra tyree ora banana split I'll let someone else get this guy. :-)

It is exactly a Tubs Pink Jade. Its very green under the LEDs and the new growth in the lower light areas has the "pink jade" look to it. Im pretty certain you have a frag of this already.
