Mystery Critter

Post by Yeti on Sun 15 Jan 2012, 2:22 am

This showed up in both tanks - just one so far. It's on a stalk as opposed to growing flat against the rock. Picture below shopped a tad to show more detail and to take away that dratted blue effect from the lights.

The T5 color in all it's glory

Color here is the closest to the naked eye

Any help at all with ID'ing this random bit of life would be muchly appreciated!

(Mrs. Y posting on behalf of Himself who's settled in on the couch with His feet up and a beverage Laughing )

Yeti . That looks too much like a Mojahno for me. If so, it will need to be burned at the stake. Aptasias little cousin.

Another sign... touch it and see if it pulls itself in so hard it almost disappears. Start up the stove... it's time for some boiling water. :-)
